MARVIN J. HOMAN,
CPA/CCIFP
PARTNER |
Marvin joined the firm in 1992
and leads the firm’s Construction
Services Group. His primary focus and
expertise is in providing accounting,
tax, and consulting services unique to
the construction industry. Marvin has
received the Certified Construction
Industry Financial Professional accreditation from
the CFMA. He also specializes in
providing profit improvement services to
companies.
Marvin graduated from Ohio Northern
University and is a member of the AICPA,
OSCPA, and Certified Financial
Management Association (CFMA). He
currently sits on the Board of the Miami
Valley CFMA and is currently
President-Elect. Marvin also sits
on the National CFMA Chapter Resource
Committee. He is also involved with
the Associated Builders and Contractors.
Outside of work, Marvin enjoys sports,
boating, playing golf, and pursuing his
interests in history and trivia. |

MICHAEL G. WARDLEY, CPA
PARTNER |
Mike joined the firm in 1992 and
is the firm’s recruiting director.
Mike’s primary focus and expertise is in
providing accounting, tax, and
consulting to manufacturers and
contractors. Mike has also developed an
expertise in training company employees
to understand how their actions impact
their company’s financial statements.
Mike is actively involved in the New
Carlisle Rotary, where he has previously
served as president. Currently, Mike
servers as Treasurer on the board of
directors of the Senior Citizens
Associates, Inc., a subsidized housing
complex for senior citizens in New
Carlisle. He
is also a member of the AICPA and OSCPA.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys golfing,
getting involved with his kids’ sporting
activities, and having fun. |

GREGG A. DEVILBISS, CPA
TAX PARTNER |
Gregg joined the firm in 1999 and directs our firm’s tax department.
Gregg has over 24 years of national and local CPA experience.
He provides tax and financial planning advice for our closely-held business clients.
Gregg is also participates in our Cost Segregation Segregation Group.
Gregg graduated from Wright State University and is a member of the AICPA, OSCPA,
and the Dayton Association of Tax Professionals. He is actively involved with
TCN Health Services in Xenia and is Past President of its not-for-profit board.
He is also on the Executive Board of Greene Giving, Inc. and the Beavercreek
Soccer Association.
Outside of work, Gregg likes to play golf, and enjoys sports, especially Ohio State.

MARK R. SMITH, CPA
PARTNER |
Mark has been with the firm
since 1997, bringing with him nine years
of experience at another local firm.
Mark’s specialties include manufacturers, high tech and internet companies,
retirement plan audits and consulting, and services for not-for-profit organizations.
Mark leads our Not-For-Profit Services Group and Charitable Contributions Tax Force.
Mark attended the University of Dayton
and is a member of the AICPA and OSCPA.
He is actively involved with the
National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s
Ohio Valley Chapter and the United Way
of Greater Dayton Community Partnership Council.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys
volunteering his time at his Church and
other organizations, bicycling with his
kids, and reading.

JON T. STANGEL, CPA/ABV/CCIFP
PARTNER |
Jon has been with the firm since 1998. His primary focus is in serving
the construction and manufacturing industries. Jon has received the
Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional accreditation
from the Certified Financial Management Association (CFMA). He is a
member of the firm’s Business Valuation Group and has been Accredited in
Business Valuations by the AICPA.
Jon attended Ball State University and is a member of the AICPA, OSCPA,
CFMA, Associated Builders and Contractors and Home Builders Association
of Miami County. He is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Troy.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with his family, traveling
and Ohio State football.

BYRON L. KENTNER, CPA
DIRECTOR |
Byron started with
the firm in 1973 and has served as a
partner for 30 years. His practice
specialties are in management consulting, including
profit improvement services and personal financial planning.
Byron also leads our Cost Segregation and Real Estate
Consulting Services Group.
Byron attended the College of Wooster
where he obtained a degree in history
before joining the firm started by his
father. Byron currently sits on the
boards of the United Rehabilitation
Services, CRS Foundation, and Building
Bridges.
Outside of work, Byron enjoys pursing his interests in
history, genealogy, and travel. |

MICHAEL C. RODDY, CPA

Mike has been with the firm
since 1976. His primary focus
is in serving the construction,
manufacturing, and distribution
industries. Mike has developed an
expertise in providing business
consulting and planning services to
these industries and their owners.
Mike is a member of the AICPA, OSCPA,
CFMA, and the Associated Builders &
Contractors. Mike recently completed a
12 year stint on the board of ABC, where
he served as Treasurer for 10 years.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys playing
golf and all spectator sports. To relax,
Mike likes to spend time boating and
fishing at the family cottage on
Jimmerson Lake in northeast Indiana. |

GREGORY H. TOMAN, CPA/ABV/CFF
DIRECTOR |
Greg has been with the firm
since 1979. His primary focus is in
serving the manufacturing, distribution,
and high tech industries. Greg specializes in
performing business valuations (for over
twenty years), succession planning,
litigation services, and general
business consulting. He also holds an
Accreditation in Business Valuations and
is Certified in Financial Forensics.
Greg is a member of the Vandalia-Butler
Schools Financial Advisory and Strategic
Planning Committees, and the Hospice of Dayton Board of
Trustees.
Away from the office, Greg enjoys tennis,
classic books, and visiting the Grand
Canyon. |

CATHERINE E. BOOHER, CPA
MANAGER |
Cathy has been with the firm
since 1977 and oversees the firm’s
accounting and auditing departments,
ensuring quality and compliance with the
ever-changing standards. Recently, Cathy
began the firm’s Not-For-Profit
division, providing assurance services
to Not-For-Profit organizations. Her
clients include contractors,
manufacturers, and professional service
organizations.
Cathy is a member of the AICPA, RMA,
CFMA, and OSCPA, where she is a past
president of the Dayton chapter.
Currently, she serves on several
advisory groups for OSCPA events in the
Dayton area.
Outside of work, Cathy is a long-time
fan of UD basketball and also enjoys
golf, reading a good book, and attending
Dayton Dragons baseball games with her
family. |
